Floppy
A floppy disk, also called a floppy, diskette, or just disk, is a type of disk storage composed of a disk of thin and flexible magnetic storage medium, sealed in a rectangular plastic enclosure lined with fabric that removes dust particles. They are typically 3.5 in. (9 cm) in diameter and capacity of floppy is 1.44MB. Data are arranged on their surfaces in concentric tracks.
फ्लॉपी डिस्क, जिसे फ्लॉपी डिस्केट या सिर्फ डिस्क भी कहा जाता है, यह एक प्रकार का डिस्क स्टोरेज है जो पतले और लचीला चुंबकीय भंडारण माध्यम की एक डिस्क से बना है, जो आयताकार प्लास्टिक की दीवार में बंद होता है, जो कपड़े के साथ पंक्तिबद्ध है जो धूल कणों को हटा देता है। वे आम तौर पर 3.5 इंच (9 सेमी) और 1.44 एम0बी0 कैपेसिटी का होता हैं। जिसमे डेटा को उनके ट्रेक सरफेस पर व्यवस्थित किया जाता है।
Hard Disk
A hard disk is part of a unit, often called a "disk drive," "hard drive," or "hard disk drive," that stores and provides relatively quick access to large amounts of data on an electromagnetically charged surface or set of surfaces. When you save data or install programs on your computer, the information is typically written to your hard disk. The hard disk is a spindle of magnetic disks, called platters, that record and store information. Because the data is stored magnetically, information recorded to the hard disk remains intact after you turn your computer off. We use Hard disk in computer, laptop etc. It has capacity of 20gb, 40gb, 250gb, 500gb and 1000gb. The disc rotate 5400, 7200 times in a minute Which is called RPM (Round Per Minute)
एक हार्ड डिस्क यूनिट का हिस्सा है, जिसे अक्सर ‘डिस्क ड्राइव’,‘हार्ड ड्राइव’ या ‘हार्ड डिस्क ड्राइव’ कहा जाता है, जो कि इलेक्ट्रोमैग्नेटिक रूप से चार्ज किए गए सतह या सतहों के सेट पर बड़ी मात्रा में डेटा को स्टोर करता है और अपेक्षाकृत त्वरित पहुंच प्रदान करता है। जब हम डेटा को सेव या प्रोग्राम को इंस्टॉल करते हैं, तो डेटा आमतौर पर हार्ड डिस्क पर सेव होता है। हार्ड डिस्क चुंबकीय डिस्क का एक स्पिंडल है, जिसे प्लेट्स कहा जाता है, जिस पर डेटा स्टोर रहता है। जिससे जानकारी हमें प्राप्त होता है चूंकि डेटा को चुंबकीय रूप से संग्रहीत किया जाता है, इसलिए आपके कंप्यूटर को बंद करने के बाद भी हार्ड डिस्क पर सेव की गई जानकारी बरकरार रहती है। हार्ड डिस्क कम्प्यूटर, लैपटाप इत्यादि में प्रयोग किया जाता है। इसकी क्षमता 20जी0बी0, 40जी0बी0, 250जी0बी0, 500जी0बी0 व 1000जी0बी0 तक होता है। जिसमें लगा डिस्क 1 मिनट में 5400 RPM, 7200 RPM Va 10000 RPM बार घूम जाता है। जिसे Round Per Minute कहते है।
