EPROM stands for Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory. Program instructions written on EPROM can be erased and changed with the help of ultra violet rays. So if once we write instruction on this chip with errors, we can erase wrong instructions and rewrite new instructions.
EPROM इरेजेबल प्रोग्रामेबल रीड वनली मेमोरी होता है। EPROM पर लिखे गए प्रोग्राम, निर्देशों को अल्ट्रा वायलेट किरणों की सहायता से मिटाया जा सकता है। इसलिए अगर एक बार हम त्रुटियों के साथ इस चिप पर निर्देश लिखते हैं, तो हम गलत निर्देशों को मिटा सकते हैं और नए निर्देशों को फिर से लिख सकते हैं।
